Should I start a Kickstarter for the sequel?

I’ve been wondering for awhile, regarding the sequel, should I create a Kickstarter for the sake of providing you guys with higher quality CGs? I had seen someone say that if my budget were higher I could do something really amazing with this universe, and so I was wondering if you guys think I should create a Kickstarter so I can commission high quality CGs. The portraits will still be made by me, but for the CGs I’d love to be able to commission some elaborate pieces to really capture the weight of the moments I have in store in the sequel.

yes plz do. I played this and I want more.

I think you should this is a good VN and it would be cool to see what more could be done with it

I want you to know how much I love this project. I liveread it on a server dedicated to visual novels when I first found it, and for an hour and a half everybody there was smitten with HubbyBot and your project.

We still talk about it all the time! Cause we all love how genuine and passionate it is, it's so easy to see how much you enjoyed working on this and how much you love the themes it deals with.

We'll love anything you put out about this universe, that I'm sure of, but if you want a higher budget, definitely start asking for donations to help towards that.

That makes me incredibly happy to hear. I had never really expected my visual novel to touch this many people, I had really never had a project be noticed on this scale before. I had actually gotten the idea of starting a fundraising effort due to finding a really nice Chinese let’s play of my game, and saw the comments they had mentioned that if I had funding I could do even better work. And that had gotten me thinking because in all honesty I never even considered upping my budget.

I think it’d be really awesome to have highly detailed, memorable CGs in the sequel. I’m kind of considering the idea of custom music as a stretch goal, if this Kickstarter is to happen, because I’m more or less just mainly focused on the idea of CGs.

In the sequel I’m hoping to make it way better than the first game both writing-wise and visually, and right now I’m sort of just trying to figure out what theme I even want to tackle. But I will say I plan on making it multiple endings this time!

You should I'd love a sequel
